WildCats defeat Lady Pirates 59-18

Monika Frame maintains control of the ball in Saturday’s losing effort against Columbia Falls. Three Lady Pirates scored during the contest: Nicole Lake 7, Monika Frame 6, Skyla Krantz 5.

The Columbia Falls WildCats remain undefeated in conference play after their victory at Linderman Gym Saturday night. Polson netted its first field goal from the floor in the second quarter, and most of its first half points came at the freethrow line.

Three Columbia Falls players scored in double figures: Ciera Fingerg led all scorers with 14 points (3FG 1-2, 2FG 3-6, FT 5-8), followed by sister Cydney with a dozen (3FG 0-2, 2FG 5-6, FT2-2), with their third leading scorer Winter Kemppainen posting a double double with 10 points and as many rebounds. Polson (2-12) was paced by post Nicole Lake with 7 points, complemented by a half dozen from Monika Frame and a quintet from guard Skyla Krantz.
